Nigerian media personality and social commentator, Radiogad, has launched a scathing attack on socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, following a viral video from a funeral ceremony where the socialite was heard using the phrase “cemetery chilling.”

The controversial remark has continued to generate reactions online, with Radiogad expressing disappointment and questioning the appropriateness of such comments at a solemn event attended by grieving family members and friends.

In a video circulating on social media, Radiogad criticized Cubana Chief Priest for what he described as insensitive behavior during the funeral of a young man.

According to him, funerals are occasions meant for mourning and paying final respects, not for lifestyle displays or attention-grabbing remarks.

He argued that the phrase “cemetery chilling” was out of place, especially at a time when people were emotionally affected by the loss of a loved one.

Radiogad repeatedly questioned why Cubana Chief Priest would make such comments while others at the event were visibly mourning.

The media personality also directed his criticism toward Nigerian music star Davido, urging him to reconsider his close association with the celebrity barman.

According to Radiogad, Cubana Chief Priest’s public conduct could negatively affect Davido’s image.

“Davido, avoid this guy. He is going to stain your white,” Radiogad said, suggesting that the socialite’s actions and public statements could become a liability for those around him.

Beyond the funeral controversy, Radiogad also took aim at Cubana Chief Priest’s reported political ambitions.

He claimed that the businessman would struggle to gain acceptance in Nigerian politics due to what he described as inappropriate public behavior.

According to Radiogad, successful politicians often maintain a level of decorum and seriousness in public appearances, qualities he believes Cubana Chief Priest has failed to demonstrate through some of his recent actions.

The outspoken commentator further accused the socialite of repeatedly giving Nigerians reasons to question his judgment, stating that every new controversy appears to reinforce negative perceptions about him.

The criticism has since sparked debate across social media platforms, with some users agreeing that the “cemetery chilling” comment was insensitive, while others defended Cubana Chief Priest, arguing that the remark may have been misunderstood or taken out of context.

Neither Davido nor Cubana Chief Priest had publicly responded to Radiogad’s comments as of the time of filing this report.

However, the exchange has once again highlighted the intense scrutiny faced by celebrities and influencers over their conduct at public events, see more….
